Changing Lives One Wag at a Time

Autism impairs a person’s ability to interact and communicate. It varies in severity but essentially limits or precludes one’s functional independence. As a result, autistic children have great difficulty forming social bonds with others, including family and peers. Although I don’t personally suffer from autism, I do have relatives diagnosed with it. That’s why I was especially intrigued one day when out of the blue I received an email from the North Star Foundation.
