Autumn in northern New Jersey is resplendent with color, alive with crisp temperatures, and full of traditional harvest activities.  It’s also the ideal season to say ‘I do’ at an intimate locale that encompasses all the splendor nature has to offer.  Tucked into the hills of Warren County is just such a place.

The Hawk Pointe Golf Club in Washington, NJ, is set on a 325-acre oasis that boasts an 18-hole championship golf course surounded by the unspoiled beauty of mountains, wetlands, and dense woods.  In addition to its serene setting, the club is renowned for fulfilling bridal fantasies and surpassing expectations of happy couples.  “It’s the perfect place to get married,” says Cara Suppo of Glen Gardner, NJ, who recently wed husband Charles there.

The premier site, which is open to non-members for their special celebration, believes that couples who experience Hawk Pointe first hand will be won over by its unparalleled combination of high-end amenities, sumptuous cuisine, and luxurious service.  That’s why engaged couples are invited to attend an autumn meet-and-greet on Friday, October 3, from 6:30-7:30 p.m.  The complimentary event is limited to 30 couples who register in advance.

According to Banquet Specialist Claudia Smirnoff, Hawk Pointe is revered for its exceptional service.  She says her goal is to help brides and grooms discover the vibe that will personalize their nuptials.  She explains, “Some couples are all about the food, while others focus on the decor or the amenities.  It’s my mission to present attractive options that tailor the affair to their vision.”  Bride Cara Suppo concurs.  She says, “When we first met Claudia, she presented us with the package.  We were overwhelmed with the choices.”

In addition to the stunning locale and impeccable service, couples will be impressed by Hawk Pointe’s warm and inviting interior.  Unlike typical banquet halls, every space exudes architectural features such as field stone fireplaces, exposed wood beams, and vaulted ceilings.  The hallmark feature is a veranda that adjoins nearly every room with unforgettable vistas.  Suppo says, “We love the overall rustic look, and the abundance of windows draws you to the gorgeous natural light and outdoor setting.”  It’s a place where up to 300 guests will feel right at home.

The tastefully appointed ballroom can be configured to suit any celebration.  “The ballroom is divisible,” says Smirnoff, “so it’s easy to plan a space for the ceremony that’s separate from the reception.”  Smirnoff’s flexibility extends to climate considerations, too.  “If the couple plans an outdoor service, I can arrange for a backup room in case of inclement weather.  For winter weddings, it’s possible to place heaters on the veranda so guests can still enjoy the view.”

Foodies won’t be disappointed, either.  Suppo recalls, “Our guests are still speaking about the scallops wrapped in bacon.  Just yesterday, I got a compliment on the salad.  Who remembers salad?  The Chateau Briand is out of this world.  The meat is perfectly prepared and melts in your mouth.  That’s just how good it is.”

Another custom convenience is Hawk Pointe’s charming 1776 Guest House.  It’s a four-bedroom, two-and-half bath lodge which can be booked in its entirety for an additional cost to serve as a quaint respite for arriving family or even as a completely private wedding night destination.

The upcoming autumn meet-and-greet will be hosted by Smirnoff.  She and her staff will familiarize attendees with the beauty of the facility and explain the array of available choices.  The occasion is strictly limited to 30 brides, and each bride may bring up to three guests.  Light refreshments will be served.  Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis.  Sign up today by emailing Communications Coordinator Margret Butler at mbutler@hawkpointegolf.com.  Please specify the bride’s name, the names of up to three guests, a contact phone number, and an email address.  To register by phone, call Butler at 908-689-1870, ext. 10.  Confirmation and instructions will be sent upon registering.  To learn more, go to www.hawkpointegolf.com.

Whether it’s an intimate or capacity affair, Hawk Pointe Golf Club is the idyllic venue for an unforgettable day.  Suppo’s experience says it all: ”We really couldn’t have asked for anything more.”  Brides, bring your dreams to the meet-and-greet, and make them come true!
